Hageland is a chain comprising more than 50 of Norway’s leading garden centers. The garden center in Haugesund sells indoor and outdoor plants, garden furniture and plant-related products. When choosing a lighting solution, the company’s primary focus areas were to ensure that the products looked and held up as well as possible.
Optimal color recognition
The Hageland Raglamyr garden center had FL300 Sunlight installed in hot and cold areas and in storage areas. The garden center was looking for a solution that would provide optimal color recognition while promoting plant quality, and the FL300 Sunlight delivered. The system delivers a sufficient amount of uniform light, which means that all colors come into their own in optimal light quality. The LCC4 controls the light intensity and ensures that there is a stable lux level on plants and products throughout the garden center.
Both customers and employees say that FL300 Sunlight creates a “pleasant” atmosphere in the garden center compared to traditional fluorescent lighting. Another important advantage is that the solution is significantly cheaper to run than fluorescent tubes.
