For flood-ebb irrigation in a single pipe system
DGT by Senmatic has developed the HSV10 and HS20 valves for perfect irrigation of flood-ebb benches. With the HSV10 and HS20 valve you can get water on the benches and drain it off again through one valve. The valve ensures a regular filling of the benches.
For flow and pressure for both types of valves please download the product sheet.
On the product sheet you can also see a diagram showing the total amount water drained in a given time with dirrent sizes of Groups in a specific system.
Both the HSV10 and HS20 valves are available in several different sizes, so the amount of water and watering time can be adapted to the pipe dimensions and pump capacity in each case. It is possible to manually disconnect a table.
If a table does not need water, for example when there are no plants on the table, turn the tap to the built-in ball valve. At the same time, you avoid an inappropriate increase in humidity in the house due to evaporation from an open table with water.
The HSV10 valves are built with a dosing ball that which ensure that the amount of water is the same on all tables in the irrigation group.
HS20 is constructed with a cone, with a hole. The hole ensures that the water volume is the same on all tables. The HS20 valve is available with different hole sizes, making it possible to get a table valve that suits the pump and flow.
Water pressure when filling, cleans the HSV10 and HS20 valves. So, there is no risk of the system becoming clogged or less water reaching the tables than before with the same watering time.
Even though the HSV10 and HS20 valves have many of the same features and serve the same function, they are designed for slightly different applications.
Which valve to choose depends on factors like bench size, pipe dimensions and how much water needs to be handled. If in doubt, we are happy to help you select the best solution for your system.
The HSV10 is particularly well suited for smaller bench systems or installations where the required water flow is relatively low. Its compact size makes it easy to fit into tight spaces.

The HS20 is the better choice when the system involves larger benches or higher water volumes. It provides increased capacity and is built to handle higher flow rates.

The water inlet and outlet on the table is designed as a strainer. This limits the amount of sphagnum and other debris in the return water.
With our re-circulating systems, the water from the pool is pumped into the fertilizer mixer, added fresh water and fertilizer if needed, and then pumped out to the tables and distributed via table valves. When the filling of the tables stops, the water runs off the tables and is returned to the basin via a return valve.
The return valve ensures that water flows in one direction only, back to the basin, once irrigation has stopped. So, when there is pressure on the water from the AMI fertilizer mixer, the water flows to the table valve and onto the table.
Learn more about our Return ValvesWhen the AMI stops the pressure, the return valve changes and the water flows into the return basin.
Return valves are available in 45 L/min and 90 L/min versions, depending on the size and layout of the system.

Developed for re-circulation systems
The HSV10, HS20 and return valves work together with the AMI Penta Bio fertilizer mixer in recirculating systems. The mixer blends water and organic fertilizer before it is pumped out to the benches via the table valves.
After watering, the return valve leads the water back to the reservoir, allowing it to be reused. This helps support a more sustainable and resource-efficient irrigation process.
