Fertilizer consumption almost halved with more precise mixers

“What the heck happened here?” asked the DanRoses nursery’s fertilizer supplier after noticing a significant decrease in the nursery’s fertilizer consumption. The answer is simple: the nursery’s new AMI Penta Irrigation and Fertilizer Mixers dose the fertilizer so precisely that all unnecessary consumption disappears – benefiting both DanRoses’ fixed costs and plant quality.

In recent years, the DanRoses nursery has replaced seven old AMI 900 and AMI 90 mixers with three new AMI Penta mixers from DGT by Senmatic. And the results are unmistakable. The nursery’s fertilizer consumption has been reduced by more than a third and up to 99% of the plants are sent out the door as A-quality.
